Karen Spink is the Assistant Director of the Health District of Northern Larimer County. Karen has been with the Health District for over 10 years and has worked in the local public health field in Colorado for more than 20 years. Among many projects and programs, Karen oversees the Health District’s Larimer Health Connect program which provides outreach and in-person assistance for health coverage enrollment, including Medicaid, CHP+, and Connect for Health Colorado (their state based Marketplace). Larimer Health Connect also helps people with limited incomes fill their prescriptions through vouchers and applications to drug company programs. Karen has a Bachelors in Community Health Education from the University of Northern Colorado and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Nebraska. Karen has been married to Kelly for 23 years, and she and her husband have two rescue dogs. Karen's hobbies include golf, travel, and photography.
