Laura Brennaman is the Policy and Research Director at the Florida CHAIN. She studies state and national policies related to health care access and quality. She has explored access barriers and disparities of care for mental health services in Florida, publishing in nursing, mental health, and health policy journals. She has been a RWJF Nursing and Health Policy Collaborative Fellow at the University of New Mexico and is an American Academy of Nursing Jonas Foundation Health Policy Scholar. Lauraholds a Doctor of Philosophy in nursing and health policy from the University of New Mexico, a Master of Science in Nursing Education from the University of New Mexico, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Kansas.
