Metro New York Health Care for All is a New York City-based community-labor coalition that advocates for universal health care, both nationally and at the state level, and we also engage in related issue campaigns that we believe are strategic to that goal.  These efforts include the defense, improvement, and expansion of existing public health and health care programs, strengthened regulation and oversight of the health care industry, advancing health equity, and supporting unionized workers as they seek to maintain and improve with their negotiated health care benefits.  Our member-partners support the broad range of policy goals from incremental reforms to Medicare-for-All, and so we understand our work to be not either-or but rather both-and, in order to advance toward health care for all across New York and the U.S.
