Jeff Martin is the Senior Director for Field Advocacy Training at ACS CAN, a position he has held since 2006. He is responsible for the development and implementation of ACS CAN’s nationwide training opportunities for volunteers and staff. In particular, these include ACS CAN’s National Leadership Summit & Lobby Day, a multi-day training and lobbying event for 750 volunteers and their staff partners, and ACS CAN’s State Lead Ambassador Summit, an annual event for the top 51 advocacy volunteers in the organization.Prior to his tenure at ACS CAN, Jeff was the Director of Grassroots Advocacy at the American Diabetes Association, an organization he held several roles in over seven years.After earning an honorable discharge from the United States Marine Corps, Jeff graduated from Richard Stockton University in New Jersey.He lives in Alexandria, Virginia.
